Bundesliga : Werder Bremen vs Hertha Berlin Preview Match

Werder Bremen are starting to struggle after losing their last two Bundesliga games, which is the same number of defeats they recorded across the first nine matchdays (W4, D3, L2).

Hertha will travel with a boost in confidence after stopping a run of five winless league games (D4, L1) with a 2-1 victory against Schalke in the last round, in what was their first Bundesliga win this calendar year when conceding. 

It was their first home league win this season too, and club president Kay Bernstein had tears in his eyes in the aftermath as he declared a feeling of relief.

However, the 13th-placed visitors have won just one away league game this season (W1, D1, L3), albeit all four other winless games came against opponents sitting in the top-half of the Bundesliga table. 

Their only away win came at Augsburg (2-0), a team that sits directly between Hertha and Bremen in the standings, which indicates Hertha can pull-off good results on the road against other mid-table sides
